Our first story comes from Florida<\/a> this morning where two men entered (an apartment) and one came out;<\/p>\n

Police said two masked men tried to rob an apartment that was occupied.<\/p>\n

One of the masked men, identified as 23-year-old Taylor William Killingsworth, was shot by the resident of the apartment, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Killingsworth was found dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The other suspect then fled the scene. Authorities said police are still trying to find him. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The next story is also from Florida<\/a>, where two guns are better than one;<\/p>\n

According to a police report released Thursday, the homeowner said that when he answered a knock at the door just after noon, a man he didn’t know pushed through the door, pulled out a gun and said, “This is a robbery, give it up.”<\/p>\n

Officers said a woman heard the commotion, came out of the bedroom with a gun and started shooting at the robber, who returned fire. According to the report, the woman went back into the bedroom to get a second gun, then continued to fire at the intruder.<\/p>\n

The alleged intruder, whose name has not been released, was shot more than a dozen times. He was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with what police described as critical but non-life-threatening injuries. Neither of the homeowners were injured.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to Kneeland, police were flagged down and told that two men \u2014 one armed with a rifle \u2014 tried to rob two people in a hallway.<\/p>\n

A female victim took a handgun from her purse and fired at one of the men, shooting him in his arm, Kneeland said.<\/p>\n

At the same time police were being flagged down, one of the would-be robbers showed up at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound to the arm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The lady had a legal permit to carry and the thieves didn’t – they had a BB rifle. <\/p>\n

Blaine sends us a last story from Oklahoma<\/a> where four fellows tried to turn their lives around in a convenience store;<\/p>\n

Police said the men went into the Ryan’s convenience store near 21st and Mingo Wednesday night, wearing masks and carrying guns.<\/p>\n

They said they fired one shot at the clerk but he fired back twice, killing two of the suspects.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
