One of them then picked up a gun he kept next to his bed, according to Keck.<\/p>\n<p>A suspect emerged through the bedroom doorway within seconds and appeared to have a handgun, according to Keck.<\/p>\n<p>The resident then fired at least five times from his bed, and the suspect fled.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said it appeared the home was entered by breaking a rear window.
