Bernath’s latest attempts to shut us down are two-fold. 1) He is sending emails to law enforcement in Virginia to shut down Don Shipley for “practising law without a license” and “doing investigations without having a Private Investigator license.” When not following this approach, he is demanding to see Don’s financial records to ensure that the money goes to charity. Which is totally normal, because every random dickweed on the street can demand those records. <\/p>\n

2) He’s hit upon some scheme to picket me at The American Legion’s National Convention next year in Baltimore:<\/p>\n

We are a group of veterans that wishes to hand out leaflets at the gov’t owned Convention Center.
\nOf course, you may regulate time, place and manner of our protests but you must accommodate our First Amendment rights.
\nWhere do you propose that we hand out our leaflets and carry our picket signs.
\nWe will do our picketing at the American Legion convention in 2015.<\/em><\/p>\n
