He was out of the Marines for 11 months when Beirut happened, and according to his assignments, he was never anywhere near Beirut. It looks like he was trained as an anti-tank fellow and did some time as an admin clerk, but that’s like Recon, right? Who needs the specialized training? Oh, yeah, he claimed he was in Operation Just Cause, too, but, no, he wasn’t. He claims two Purple Hearts in the article, but, no. he couldn’t be happy with one Humanitarian Service Medal like he earned – he made it two in the article.<\/p>\n

After four years in the Marines, he was discharged as a Private First Class, so there was probably some bad behavior towards the end. Well, either that or he missed the career ladder entirely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
