We featured this story the other day<\/a> when Christian Parmer caught the guy in the picture above trolling through Fresno airport for discounts wearing a uniform he didn’t earn. In this interview with Fox News, Parmer tells us that the fake was wearing a Confederate Flag patch on the uniform in place of the American flag. What a dingleberry.<\/p>\n

But, at least the media is taking notice of these incidents, finally, instead of just the higher profile cases. I guess Stolen Valor is going to take the place of the media’s fascination with high-speed car chases through Los Angeles in the coming months. <\/p>\n

I’d say that this will reflect poorly on veterans as a whole, but since most of us don’t mention our service generally, and we especially don’t wear military uniforms out in public, it probably won’t affect the rest of us much, except maybe in the public perception of veterans in general.<\/p>\n

But, I think this dude’s days of discounts is through, but I wish Specialist Parmer and the police had got this fellow’s name before they let him slink away. or put him on a plane to Afghanistan to disarm some IEDs since he wants to play the role;<\/p>\n
