Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories once again today. The first is from North Dakota<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Fargo Police say 32-year-old Eugene Fredrick Quinnett went in store and was digging around behind the counter.<\/p>\n

A manager questioned him and Quinnett put his hands in his jacket and indicated he had a gun.<\/p>\n

The manager then pulled out his own gun and Quinnett ran.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a good description of Quinnett — police were able to locate him at a local motel.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The next comes from Arkansas<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Saturday night, Fort Smith police said 25-year-old Marcus D. Gould and 20-year-old Leon Roberson are in custody in connection with an attempted armed robbery at C & S Pawn Shop on South Thompson Street.<\/p>\n

Officers said the two men came into the shop together with semi-automatic guns and started shooting. That’s when the employees at the shop fired back. One of the suspects was wounded in the exchange of fire at the shop, police said.<\/p>\n

No employees were injured, officers told 40\/29 News. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The next story comes from California<\/a>;<\/p>\n

At a home near Granada Avenue and Second Street, around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched for an \u201cunknown trouble\u201d call. When they arrived, they discovered that a resident had armed himself against an intruder.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary investigations, the resident reported that he had accidentally fired the weapon, but didn\u2019t hit the suspect. The suspect then fled unharmed and climbed a tree to hide, but suffered an injury falling from the tree and was transported to a local hospital before being booked.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Finally, the last story is from Indiana where an armed homeowner held a getaway driver at gunpoint and helped police solve four other burglaries;<\/p>\n

Police said they arrived at a house in the 800 block of Edgewood Avenue on the city\u2019s North Hill around 5:30 a.m. Sunday to find the resident holding a gun on Holmes, the alleged burglar\u2019s driver, whom he had lying on the ground.<\/p>\n

Police arrested Holmes, charging him in connection with four separate offenses.<\/p>\n

The Edgewood Avenue resident told officers someone had broken into his garage late last month and stolen guns and a hunting knife.<\/p>\n

After that, he said, he installed an alarm system. He said the alarm went off Sunday and he could see someone in his garage with a flashlight.<\/p>\n

The man said he went out to the garage and fired one shot into the air. He said a male ran from the garage onto Virginia Avenue. The resident said a blue Chevrolet Cavalier approached and stopped in front of his garage. He said he held the driver at gunpoint until the police arrived.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
