{"id":56992,"date":"2014-12-10T07:00:17","date_gmt":"2014-12-10T12:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=56992"},"modified":"2014-12-09T14:36:07","modified_gmt":"2014-12-09T19:36:07","slug":"wednesday-morning-feel-good-stories-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56992","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday morning feel good stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories again today, the first comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.krcrtv.com\/news\/local\/woman-covered-in-blood-says-she-shot-an-intruder\/30119232\">California<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> Butte County deputies responded to a call from a citizen reporting that there was a frantic woman at his door.  The woman was covered with blood.<\/p>\n<p>The woman told deputies there had been an intruder at her residence and she had shot the man.<\/p>\n<p>The man who was shot was taken by ambulance from the scene and then flown by helicopter to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The next story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fayobserver.com\/news\/crime_courts\/red-springs-homeowner-shot-in-shoulder-responds-by-killing-intruder\/article_09080e28-2ddd-506d-8237-9a89654153e3.html\">North Carolina<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Hardin, who worked nearby, received a call from his wife several minutes earlier. She told Hardin that a suspicious vehicle was parked near their home, Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>Hardin left work, went home to check and found a vehicle parked on Dixie Road near his home.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was a boy in it who apparently was asleep,&#8221; Sealey said. &#8220;He (Hardin) tapped on the window and the boy took off at a high rate of speed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hardin went on to his home, walked inside and was confronted in the hall by two men who were wearing masks, Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of them pulled a gun and shot Hardin in the shoulder,&#8221; Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>Hardin, who had a gun, returned fire, killing one of the intruders, who fell into a bedroom, Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>The second intruder ran away, Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>The man who was killed has been identified as Randal Dwight Hardin Jr., 28, of Black Bridge Road in Parkton, Sealey said.<\/p>\n<p>Randal Hardin is a distant relative of Sanford Hardin, Sealey said.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The last story is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kltv.com\/story\/27584670\/police-person-fatally-shot-by-homeowner-during-possible-burglary\">Texas<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police say 44-year-old Luke Garrison, a Brownsboro resident, was shot while breaking into a home in the 900 block of Charleston Drive, at the corner of Charleston and Trenton drives. <\/p>\n<p>According to police, the 77-year-old homeowner was in a room when he heard a noise and retrieved his shotgun. He saw the suspect, who lunged at him, and he fired one round, striking Garrison in the left side of his chest.
