{"id":56652,"date":"2014-11-25T07:00:37","date_gmt":"2014-11-25T12:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=56652"},"modified":"2014-11-24T14:04:50","modified_gmt":"2014-11-24T19:04:50","slug":"tuesday-morning-feel-good-stories-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56652","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday morning feel good stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again, Chief Tango sends us our stories for this morning; the first is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vindy.com\/news\/2014\/nov\/24\/man-shot-killed-during-warren-home-invasion\/\">Ohio<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A resident of Starlite Drive Northwest shot and killed an 18-year-old Southington man who police believe was part of a group of three people committing an aggravated burglary at the Starlite residence.<\/p>\n<p>Trent Hall of Braceville Robinson Road died, apparently of gunshot wounds, at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital following the 10:30 p.m. incident.<\/p>\n<p>The Startlite resident, Benjamin Talanca, 29, suffered a &#8220;severe laceration&#8221; head injury in the confrontation, police said and went to St. Joseph Health Center for treatment of his injuries, which are non-life-threatening.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type='text\/javascript' src='http:\/\/WFMJ.images.worldnow.com\/interface\/js\/WNVideo.js?rnd=130807;hostDomain=www.wfmj.com;playerWidth=500;playerHeight=300;isShowIcon=true;clipId=10883861;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay'><\/script><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wfmj.com\" title=\"21 News Now, More Local News for Youngstown, Ohio - \">21 News Now, More Local News for Youngstown, Ohio &#8211; <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The next story is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxal.com\/story\/27463152\/birmingham-pd-robbery-victim-shoots-1-suspect-other-still-on-the-loose\">Alabama<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Birmingham Police say a man shot one of the two men attempting to rob him on Sunday on 83rd Street South and 4th Avenue South.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Sean Edwards says a male was being robbed by two males when he shot one of the suspects. The suspects fled the area. One of the suspects turned up at another location with a gunshot wound. Police were called and put everything together.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type='text\/javascript' src='http:\/\/WBRC.images.worldnow.com\/interface\/js\/WNVideo.js?rnd=964198;hostDomain=www.myfoxal.com;playerWidth=500;playerHeight=300;isShowIcon=true;clipId=10882722;flvUri=;partnerclipid=;adTag=News;advertisingZone=;enableAds=true;landingPage=;islandingPageoverride=false;playerType=STANDARD_EMBEDDEDscript;controlsType=overlay'><\/script><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxal.com\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjtv.com\/story\/27463626\/jackson-business-owner-says-he-fired-shots-at-armed-robber\">Mississippi<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Surveillance video shows at least two men attempting to go inside the front door, but the doors were locked.<\/p>\n<p>From there, Nancer tells us things took a turn when he says the man hopped the fence.<\/p>\n<p>He says he immediately took action because he feared for his life.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He went to the back and tried to break in the window. He was coming and he got a pistol on him and after that, when I saw him, I started shooting.
