<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nEarlier this summer, the folks at Professional Soldier<\/a> sent us their work on John Frederick Kuhl<\/a>, a firearms instructor in Colorado and it seems that he hadn’t learned his lesson from our exposure of him. The Denver Post<\/a> reports that he befriended the local sheriff and told his stories of derring-do and his phony 30-year career.<\/p>\n Somehow the sheriff found out that John had only served 13 weeks and left the Army as E-2 in an ADA unit at Bragg;<\/p>\n Sheriff Shayne Heap doesn’t play;<\/p>\n He told Heap he wanted to retire [from his firearms training business] and work for the sheriff’s office in the county jail, according to the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n Kuhl in reality had only served in the Army for 13 months as opposed to the 30 years he said he had been in the service, the office said.<\/p>\n Kuhl was arrested on a misdemeanor charge on Monday and posted $1,000 bail. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n He probably won’t do any jail time, but maybe he learned his lesson?
