{"id":56400,"date":"2014-11-12T12:42:57","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T17:42:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=56400"},"modified":"2014-11-12T12:42:57","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T17:42:57","slug":"yet-more-recent-news-about-that-global-warming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56400","title":{"rendered":"Yet More Recent News About That \u201cGlobal Warming\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it&#8217;s fall.\u00a0 So let\u2019s look at a few more recent stories supporting that global warming\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">propaganda<\/span> \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 scientific theory, shall we?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kgwn.tv\/home\/headlines\/Dangerous-Wind-Chills-Expected-Overnight-282338581.html\">Parts of Wyoming see -35F windchill earlier this week.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/weather\/2014\/11\/11\/winter-weather-midwest-plains\/18841809\/\">10-11 Nov: Record Snow in Upper Midwest, breaking records set in the 1890s . . .<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/en\/weather-news\/cold-to-freeze-east-snow-chances\/37206290\">. . . and it\u2019s moving South and East. By the weekend, most of the &#8220;lower 48&#8221; will be 10 degrees F or more below normal.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.weather.com\/news\/weather-forecast\/fall-first-cold-frost-20140904\">If you\u2019re thinking you remember something along these lines happening 2 months ago \u2013 <em>before summer even ended<\/em> &#8211; you\u2019re correct.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/nature\/520672\/Winter-weather-2014-UK-forecast-cold-snow-November\">And, finally: no, it\u2019s not just here in North America. Long-range forecasters in the UK have predicted an exceptionally cold winter this year \u2013 perhaps the coldest winter in a century.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For what it\u2019s worth: winter doesn\u2019t start until 21 December. That\u2019s still about 5 1\/2 weeks away.<\/p>\n<p>But we dare not question where \u201cglobal warming\u201d is real. Oh, no \u2013 mustn\u2019t do that. It\u2019s \u201csettled science\u201d, remember? Never mind the fact that <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2014\/10\/02\/its-official-no-global-warming-for-18-years-1-month\/\">the last nearly two decades of climate data show no warming whatsoever<\/a> \u2013 and longer-term data actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56060\">appears to show a cooling trend beginning in the 1930s<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Look, I can\u2019t tell you definitively whether global warming is happening or not; ditto for global cooling. The data just isn\u2019t clear enough to make that determination with any degree of confidence whatsoever. Hell, to me it looks if anything like we\u2019re entering a mild cooling trend. But the data supporting that is iffy, too.<\/p>\n<p><em>And that\u2019s exactly my point.<\/em> Because based on, well, actual data . . . those so-called experts claiming that man is \u201cdestroying the planet\u201d through causing global warming don\u2019t have enough data to prove their case, either. The data just doesn\u2019t support either theory definitively.<\/p>\n<p>Sheesh. Best I can tell, the majority of climatologists today understand what\u2019s really affecting the Earth\u2019s climate about as well as my cat understands theology or quantum mechanics. To wit:\u00a0 they haven&#8217;t a clue as to what&#8217;s actually going on.\u00a0 They\u2019re just not willing to admit it.<\/p>\n<p>Why?
