{"id":56399,"date":"2014-11-12T12:31:44","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T17:31:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=56399"},"modified":"2014-11-12T12:31:44","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T17:31:44","slug":"blackhawk-crew-suspended-for-halloween-candy-drop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56399","title":{"rendered":"Blackhawk crew suspended for Halloween candy drop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pinto Nag sends us an article from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2014\/11\/06\/arizona-national-guard-crew-suspended-dropping-halloween-candy-black-hawk\/18583389\/\">USAToday<\/a> which reports that some Arizona National Guard Blackhawk crew thought that it would be a good idea to fly over a residential area Phoenix and drop candy from their craft;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The aircrew on the UH-60 Black Hawk took off from the Papago Military Reservation, near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on the south side of the city, Oct. 28 for a training mission in Deer Valley, on the north side of Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>On the way, the helicopter flew over the Arcadia neighborhood in central Phoenix and dropped the candy at a Halloween party, the Guard said.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation involves crew members from the 2nd Battalion, 285th Aviation Regiment and is expected to be completed in 30 to 60 days, Arizona National Guard spokesman Maj.
