{"id":56320,"date":"2014-11-08T06:00:49","date_gmt":"2014-11-08T11:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=56320"},"modified":"2014-11-07T18:57:09","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T23:57:09","slug":"saturday-morning-feel-good-story-35","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=56320","title":{"rendered":"Saturday morning feel good story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning&#8217;s feel good story was sent to us by Pinto Nag and it happened in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/crime\/dad-confronts-kidnapper-saves-5-year-old-daughter\/ar-AA70W89?ocid=iehp\">Utah<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The suspect in this case entered the home through an unlocked door at about 4:30 a.m., in Sandy, a middle-class suburb south of Salt Lake City, Police Sgt. Dean Carriger said.<\/p>\n<p>The intruder was in the family&#8217;s basement searching through things when he came upon the girl sleeping in her bedroom, Carriger said. The suspect took her out of bed and carried her upstairs, making noises that woke the parents.<\/p>\n<p>The girl&#8217;s father went to the door and saw the man carrying his daughter in the front lawn. He ran outside and confronted the man, asking him what he was doing and demanding that he give back his little girl.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect handed her over to her father without confrontation, Carriger said.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect then fled, and the father called 911.<\/p>\n<p>Officers set up a perimeter, and with the help of police dogs, launched a search. The suspect went into a second home two blocks away through a doggy door in an attempt to evade capture.
