KC Massey, was found to have bomb making material in his hotel room near Brownsville, Texas recently. Oh, yeah, and he is a felon who illegally possessed firearms;<\/p>\n Agents with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who searched Massey’s hotel room in Brownsville after an Oct. 20 arrest, found an AK-47 with six loaded magazines, a loaded handgun, a ballistic helmet and several cameras, as well as the ammunition box filled with suspected ammonium nitrate and fuel, according to court documents obtained by the San Antonio Express-News. <\/p>\n […]<\/p>\n Massey was arrested in connection to an Aug. 29 incident during which a Border Patrol agent fired four shots at a man pointing a weapon at the agent near the Rio Grande while pursuing a group of immigrants east of Brownsville, according to documents from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Brownsville.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Apparently, the BATFE folks have found a number of these “border militia” folks to be felons in possession of firearms. And, you know to pollute the immigration issue with their special brand of criminality, the goofballs at these organizations, somehow think that felons have a second amendment right<\/a> to possess firearms. <\/p>\n If I don’t want a felon to have the right to vote, I certainly can’t defend a felon’s right to own a firearm. The “border militias” are becoming a hideout for criminals, I guess, a place they can become folk heroes. But all they do is poison the immigration debate.
