Amy sends us our first feel good story this morning from Texas<\/a> where a group of fellows approached security at a bar who happened to be off-duty cops;<\/p>\n

The group of victims claimed they were all robbed at gunpoint nearby. At first, the off-duty officers couldn’t find the suspects.<\/p>\n

However, one victim came back with the suspect’s truck description and license plate. Then the officers got in their car, drove around the neighborhood, noticed cars vandalized and found the suspect’s truck sitting in the 1100 block of Oliver.<\/p>\n

Police heard a woman scream and saw the suspects running. Despite warnings from officers to stop, both suspects got in their truck.<\/p>\n

Police say the driver revved his engine and started driving toward one of the officers. That is when he decided to open fire. His partner, who was off to the side, also opened fire on the suspects.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The second story sent by Chief Tango comes from Louisiana<\/a>;<\/p>\n

According to police, a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg after someone broke into the home. The victim told police that the man entered the home through a back window. <\/p>\n

Officials say the victim managed to return gunfire, but it is unknown whether or not the suspect was injured. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
