Well, experts say <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2014\/oct\/01\/ebola-prevention-thermal-scanner-effective-placebo\">they don\u2019t really work worth a damn<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li>And Customs Agents in Newark say <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/news\/local\/Ebola-Screening-Newark-Airport-Patient-Death-West-Africa-Dallas-New-York-Screening-278582511.html\">they\u2019re not yet properly trained or prepared for doing that<\/a>, anyway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A nurse recently returned to Australia from Sierra Leone. Initially, it also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2786033\/BREAKING-NEWS-Woman-observation-ebola-Queensland-hospital.html\">appeared she may have had a passenger on the trip<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Initial tests were negative for Ebola; let&#8217;s hope that&#8217;s correct.\u00a0 She remains in isolation.<\/li>\n<li>HHS Secretary Sylvia Burwell: <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/article\/2554588\">Americans have to prepare for the reality that there may be more cases of Ebola in the United States<\/a> (Very true, Secretary Burwell \u2013 primarily because the\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">DC Clown <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefreedictionary.com\/krewe\">Krewe<\/a> in charge<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 current Administration seems not to give a damn about controlling entry to the US from the current outbreak areas.)<\/li>\n<li>The current Ebola outbreak <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2014\/oct\/08\/-sp-ebola-west-africa-health-workers\">is taking a huge toll on medical personnel<\/a>. So what happens when the doctors and nurses are all dead \u2013 or begin to refuse to treat anyone out of fear for their own lives?<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Thomas Frieden, CDC Director: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2014\/09\/30\/us-health-ebola-usa-idUSKCN0HP2F720140930\">US hospitals are prepared to handle Ebola<\/a>. Nurses Union officials: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2014\/10\/03\/health-ebola-nurses-idUSL2N0RX35F20141003\">um, Dr. Frieden . . . no we\u2019re not<\/a>. And the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital fiasco in Dallas \u2013 when a symptomatic Ebola patient who told emergency room personnel he\u2019d been in Liberia recently, but was sent home and returned much sicker 3 days later &#8211; lends credence to those Nurses Union claims.<\/li>\n<li>A medical official with the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/2014\/10\/09\/un-liberia-medic-arrives-in-germany-for-ebola-treatment\/\">has tested positive for Ebola and has been evacuated to Germany for treatment<\/a>.
