<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nChief Tango sends us our feel good stories again this morning. The first is from Michigan<\/a> where a fellow broke into someone’s house and made himself a nest on the couch;<\/p>\n \u201cAccording to the homeowner, he tried to wake the suspect up, who then became belligerent and combative,\u201d Reiss said. \u201cA struggle ensued over the firearm with the owner discharging one round from the firearm.\u201d<\/p>\n The suspect was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics from Montcalm County Emergency Medical Services.<\/p>\n Names are not being released at this time, but Reiss said the male suspect is believed to be in his early 20\u2019s and is not a Greenville resident.<\/p>\n Reiss said officers were in the area during the time of the shooting because they had been called by a neighbor in response to the same suspect.<\/p>\n According to Reiss, the homeowner at 303 W. Grove St. stated that the suspect had also attempted to enter that residence.<\/p>\n \u201cWe had been called a short time earlier about a man who had been running around nude in the area and we had officers around looking for him,\u201d he said. \u201cAs officers were searching for the suspect, they heard the gunshot from within the home.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
