Fox News<\/a> says that British and American intelligence services have identified 23-year-old UK rapper, Abde Majed Abdel Bary as the fellow who beheaded US journalist James Foley;<\/p>\n

U.S. intelligence officials are not commenting publicly on the reports, but a well-placed source told Fox News that Bary’s Egyptian-born father was extradited from London to the United States in 2012 for his alleged connection to Usama Bin Laden and the 1998 US Embassy bombings in Africa.<\/p>\n

Bary traveled to Syria last year to fight with ISIS, the source said. <\/p>\n

The Sunday Times and Sunday People identified Bary as a member of a group of at least three British-born ISIS fighters known among former hostages as “The Beatles.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The UK’s Telegraph<\/a> says that he’s also known as “John” in the group the terrorists have named “The Beatles”:<\/p>\n

Based in the Isil stronghold of Raqqa in Syria, \u2018John\u2019, is described as a well-educated, intelligent, but highly committed member of the extremist terror group.<\/p>\n

Operating closely with two other British born militants, the group have been dubbed \u2018The Beatles\u2019, by fellow jihadists because of their nationality. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
