Regular TAH readers know I\u00a0\u00a0 hate ObamaCare with a passion<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 think ObamaCare is an idiotic, asinine abomination<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 don’t much care for ObamaCare.\u00a0 And I think it’s rollout has been \u00a0\u00a0 as f’ed up as a football bat<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 exceedingly poorly managed and executed.\u00a0 In fact, I really couldn’t think of anything that the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 fools and tools<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 individuals responsible for ObamaCare had done correctly.<\/p>\n

Until now.\u00a0 This week, the Obama Administration did something laudable with ObamaCare.<\/p>\n

No, they didn’t suspend it and call for Congress to repeal it.\u00a0 But this week it was announced that for some 310,000 persons with inconsistent ObamaCare applications, submission of proof of citizenship or legal residence would be required<\/a>.\u00a0 If no proof of citizenship is submitted by 5 September, on 30 September their ObamaCare plans supposedly will be cancelled.<\/p>\n

I’ll believe that when I see it happen, of course.\u00a0 And I have no doubt this Administration will find multiple new and novel ways to screw this up by-the-numbers, too.\u00a0 They’re damn good at that.<\/p>\n

But give even the devil his due.\u00a0 ObamaCare is massively FUBAR – but this is at least one tiny, baby step in the right direction.<\/p>\n

Now, let’s see if we can “do the right thing” and put ObamaCare completely and permanently out of its misery.\u00a0 Then burn the corpse, and bury the ashes in quicklime.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
