{"id":54427,"date":"2014-08-08T10:30:26","date_gmt":"2014-08-08T14:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=54427"},"modified":"2014-08-08T10:33:55","modified_gmt":"2014-08-08T14:33:55","slug":"so-what-does-the-potus-really-think-of-vets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=54427","title":{"rendered":"So, What Does the POTUS Really Think of Vets?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, the POTUS signed that &#8220;landmark&#8221; VA bill &#8211; throwing more money at a problem that isn&#8217;t financial.\u00a0 That means he really cares about vets and their problems, right?<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, right.\u00a0 Remember the VA scandal that caused that bill to be drafted and fast-tracked?\u00a0 You know, the one that finally got former VA Secretary Shinseki\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <del>kicked to the curb<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 to resign?<\/p>\n<p>Wanna guess how many times the POTUS met one-on-one with Shinseki to discuss the scandal this year while it was ongoing?\u00a0 Remember, the POTUS made it clear when speaking publicly that he regarded the crisis as &#8220;urgent&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2014\/08\/07\/records-show-obama-met-just-once-with-shinseki-during-va-scandal\/\">Try <strong><em>once<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; on the day Shinseki resigned, May 30<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 (He also saw Shinseki at two cabinet meetings Shinseki attended in January &#8211; but that&#8217;s hardly the same.)<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<p>Words, actions.
