{"id":54379,"date":"2014-08-06T06:00:14","date_gmt":"2014-08-06T10:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=54379"},"modified":"2014-08-05T18:12:57","modified_gmt":"2014-08-05T22:12:57","slug":"wednesday-morning-feel-good-stories-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=54379","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday Morning Feel Good Stories"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Chief Tango sends us a couple of feel good stories this morning, the first is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kait8.com\/story\/26167360\/teens-chase-nude-burglary-suspect-from-home-at-gunpoint\">Alabama<\/a>, where Kenneth Johnson discovered that not everyone is as impressed with his naked form as he seems to be;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police said Johnson entered the home in Camden Cove through the attached garage. Once inside, police said Johnson took off his clothes and walked in on the 15 and 17-year-old boys.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said the younger teen called police while the older one grabbed his father&#8217;s gun and ran him out of the house.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the man wandered around the area before coming back to the home, where they arrested him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The next story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxtampabay.com\/story\/26176093\/manatee-county-woman-scares-burglar-off-with-gun\">Florida<\/a> where NJ Logan was forced to chase a burglar from her home with a firearm;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know what was going on in my mind. Honestly all I wanted was my gun,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>She grabbed it and went downstairs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was probably running down the stairs with my new hip so to speak,&#8221; said NJ.<\/p>\n<p>She yelled out warnings to whoever was downstairs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t want to shoot. I really didn&#8217;t want to have to shoot anybody,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>She then called for help.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I called 911 she kept saying put the gun down. Put the gun down and I said I&#8217;ll put the gun down when I see the police,&#8221; NJ said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/44SftSVt1x4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The next story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsoctv.com\/news\/news\/local\/cmpd-robber-store-employee-exchange-gunfire-northw\/ngwCD\/\">North Carolina<\/a> where a store employee was forced to return fire at thieves;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Officers said the men entered Jerry\u2019s Mini Mart on Mount Holly Road around 9:20 p.m. and robbed the business at gunpoint.<\/p>\n<p>As they fled, police said one of the men fired a shot at an employee. The employee then shot back but nobody was struck.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the suspects, described as black males in their early 20s with their faces covered, ran off. One of the thieves had long dreads.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/philadelphia.cbslocal.com\/2014\/08\/05\/intruder-shot-by-female-homeowner-in-delaware\/\">In Delaware<\/a>, a woman had to defend herself and her son when they encountered a fellow turning his life around in their home;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>According to investigators, a female homeowner and her son entered the unoccupied home that was undergoing renovation and discovered a male suspect sleeping inside.<\/p>\n<p>The homeowner confronted the suspect and a physical struggle ensued. During the struggle, the homeowner, who was armed with a handgun, fired the weapon, striking the suspect in the lower body.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect ran out of the home, but was later tracked down in a wooded area and taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to a Christiana Hospital in good condition.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor, Lou Fournarakis says, \u201cHey, all the better for her. If someone wanted to break into my house I\u2019d want to do the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Neighbors also tell CBS 3 there have been break-ins at this home in the past, even people partying inside.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/6abc.com\/video\/embed\/?pid=241397\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Finally, in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/content\/stories\/local\/2014\/07\/31\/Man_shoots_kills_intruder_in_his_Zanesville_home.html\">Ohio<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kristina Lynne Holskey, 39, reportedly broke into the apartment of Terry J. McConnell, 46, at 10701\/2 Linden Ave. just north of downtown Zanesville about 3:30 a.m., said Zanesville Police Capt. Tony Coury.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor living in the ground-floor apartment below McConnell called 911 to report hearing gunshots. When police arrived, they found McConnell with a gunshot wound in his stomach. He was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where he remained in serious condition yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Holskey was on the floor, bleeding but still alive.
