Well, we have a bit of news on Flemron E. Dickey, candidate for Congress in Mississippi. So stand by for today’s “Flem update”.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, reports surfaced that Dickey had been arrested for felony bad checks in Desoto County, Mississippi in 2012. While that report was true, it turns out Dickey apparently never faced felony charges in that case (though the precise disposition isn’t clear).<\/p>\n
However, it does appear that there is some question about the BS degree he claims from Grand Canyon University. Apparently Dickey did in fact attend GCU.\u00a0 However, the university apparently has no record of him as a graduate<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last time I checked, college degrees weren’t normally issued to those who didn’t graduate. Wassup with that, “Flem”?<\/p>\n Apparently “BS degree” is indeed apropos.<\/p>\n Let’s see . . . what have we seen from Dickey so far?<\/p>\n Sheesh. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s anything about this guy that isn’t<\/em> questionable. \nFact<\/span>: not unless the AOR for Desert Storm included Korea and “fighting” includes bar fights downtown “in the ‘ville”.\u00a0 Dickey’s records show he was in Korea from October 1990 to November 1991.\u00a0 Desert Storm was 17 Jan – 28 Feb 1991 – in Kuwait and Iraq, which is about 4400 miles away from Korea.<\/li>\n
