The first comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nbc26.tv\/story\/26053619\/home-invasion-ends-with-one-man-shot-in-the-stomach\">Georgia<\/a>, where a youngster took a cab to a home invasion;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Local cab driver Dennis Weathermen tells us that he picked up the 26 year old male from the Courtesy Motel around 7 AM.  They arrived at the residence shortly after 7:30. The man handed him his license and said he was running into the home to grab correct change. That&#8217;s when Weatherman says he heard someone trying to kick down the door.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I heard the noise of somebody trying to kick the door in, about the second or third kick I heard it give way. Then it probably wasn&#8217;t 30 seconds after that i heard two consecutive shots. I said please tell me that was not gun shots&#8230;so I waited a few minutes and right as I was about to call 911 a sheriff pulled up.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"http:\/\/v9.anv.bz\/scripts\/anv_mcp_9.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\">var p = new anv_pl_def();p.loadVideoWithKey(\"eyJtIjoiR1JUViIsInAiOiI2OCIsInYiOiIyODg4MTM5In0=\");<\/script><\/p>\n<p>The next story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wapt.com\/news\/central-mississippi\/jackson\/jpd-homeowner-shoots-kills-intruder\/27014780#!bhY0sU\">Mississippi<\/a> where two fellows left the scene of their crime with more (or less) than they had intended;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The incident happened about 2:30 a.m. Friday at a home in the 3500 block of Rosemary Avenue, police said. Assistant Police Chief Lee Vance said it appears the two men had broken into the house and were confronted by the homeowner.<\/p>\n<p>Jonquez Porter, 19, was killed, according to Jackson Police Department spokeswoman Officer Colendula Green. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The homeowners confronted them. He shot one individual several times. The second one was able to escape through a window,&#8221; Vance said.<\/p>\n<p>Romelo Porter, who had been shot in the leg, was captured down the street from the home, Vance said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories today.
