<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nYou may remember when we talked about Andrew Scott Boguslawski<\/a>, an Indiana National Guardsman who was stopped for speeding in Ohio and then it was discovered that he was transporting explosive devices in his car. Well, there’s a simple explanation according to the Associated Press<\/a>;<\/p>\n [Defense attorney Steve] Nolder has said Boguslawski played the role of an enemy fighter when he helped train troops departing for war zones and wanted to make the job as real as possible. Over time, Boguslawski started to add explosives to the training and gradually became reckless in his approach to the homemade weapons, according to Nolder.<\/p>\n Investigators found numerous videos and photographs showing Boguslawski, family members and associates \u2014 including Boguslawski\u2019s 16-year-old niece \u2014 blowing up several devices, according to a criminal complaint filed this year.<\/p>\n Video evidence showed that Boguslawski had used explosive devices as weapons and distraction devices near civilians and military personnel, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I guess that he got so good at building bombs for the National Guard, he had a hard time stopping. Boguslawski faces 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine at his Aug. 8 sentencing in federal court, but he thinks that he should get time served (he was arrested in early January) plus 18 months of house arrest.
