{"id":53497,"date":"2014-07-09T06:00:28","date_gmt":"2014-07-09T10:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=53497"},"modified":"2014-07-08T20:43:03","modified_gmt":"2014-07-09T00:43:03","slug":"wednesday-morning-feel-good-story-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=53497","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday morning feel good story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Tango sends us links to our feel good stories this morning, the first is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wibw.com\/home\/headlines\/Restaurant-Owner-With-Gun-Stops-Break-In-266190891.html\">Kansas<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Officers were called to the the El Centinela building, which is just south of 21st street on Belle around 1:10 a.m. after the property owner, identified as Kent Lindemuth, told police that two people had broken into the building.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say Lindemuth fired one shot at one of the suspects as they ran towards the back of the building.<\/p>\n<p>Both suspects were later taken into custody by police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The next story comes from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wate.com\/story\/25961121\/shots-fired-between-homeowner-and-two-suspected-burglars-in-south-knoxville\">Tennessee<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It happened along the 6500 block of Sevierville Pike. The homeowner told investigators he saw two men leaving his house with some of his property around 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies believed the homeowner shot at the suspects first, and one of suspects then returned fire before running off.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor. Mike Hill. said he saw the suspects fleeing the scene in a car, and he said he even tried to cut them off. The suspects did get away.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just heard a bunch of gunshots going off, probably sounded like 20 gunshots going off to me. I was wondering what the hell was going on, you know.
