Nothing new there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLearned scientists\u201d keep telling us that the planet is overheating \u2013 fast. They say that overheating is a threat to the world.<\/p>\n<p>So, someone please explain this to me.\u00a0 Why has the average Antarctic ice coverage <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2014\/06\/29\/antarctica-sets-new-record-for-sea-ice-extent\/\">been observed to be generally <em>increasing<\/em> since satellite data has been available for same in 1979<\/a>? If the planet is warming, shouldn\u2019t we be seeing a <em>decrease<\/em> in Antarctic sea ice?<\/p>\n<p>And why do we see <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">record<\/span> Antarctic sea ice coverage today \u2013 a record which exceeds the previous measured maximum <em>by more than 12.7%<\/em>? And why is the <em>global<\/em> sea ice coverage worldwide today a bit more than 1 million sq km <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">above historical average<\/span>?<\/p>\n<p>Ya know, sometimes I swear I think that these \u201clearned scientists\u201d are smoking rope.\u00a0 Or maybe eating &#8220;magic mushroom&#8221; pizza.<\/p>\n<p>But maybe not.\u00a0 Perhaps they\u2019re just ignoring hard data they don&#8217;t like.
