{"id":52214,"date":"2014-06-25T09:00:54","date_gmt":"2014-06-25T13:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=52214"},"modified":"2014-06-24T18:00:08","modified_gmt":"2014-06-24T22:00:08","slug":"coburn-more-than-1000-vets-death-result-from-va-malfeasance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=52214","title":{"rendered":"Coburn: More than 1000 vets&#8217; death result from VA malfeasance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stripes.com\/senator-more-than-1-000-veterans-may-have-died-as-a-result-of-va-misconduct-1.290420\">Stars &#038; Stripes<\/a> reports that Senator Tom Coburn&#8217;s office released a report entitled \u201cFriendly Fire: Death, Delay, and Dismay at the VA\u201d, the results of a study for more than a year in which they charge that more than a thousand veterans have died as a direct result of their treatment, or mistreatment, by the Department of Veterans&#8217; Affairs;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> The report identifies $20 billion in waste and mismanagement that the authors say could have been better spent providing health care to veterans.
