Apparently, only some of the Pasco County 911 operators are qualified to take police calls, while others can only take fire calls. If you&#8217;re unlucky and get the wrong type of operator well, you have to be transferred to the properly qualified operator;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Each time the dispatcher tried to transfer the emergency call to a qualified person a prerecorded message came up saying &#8220;If this is an emergency hang up and call 911.
