Your stories this morning are brought to you by Chief Tango, the first is from Montana<\/a> where a homeowner warned the invaders that they get shot and they didn’t listen;<\/p>\n

vCharging documents allege Lira and Christopher James Michelotti forced their way into a house late Sunday, causing its six residents \u2014 including a 5-month-old baby \u2014 to retreat to the basement.<\/p>\n

The homeowner warned that if the suspected burglars followed, he would shoot.<\/p>\n

Court records say when Michelotti started down the basement stairs with a handgun, the homeowner shot him in the leg. Michelotti was taken to the hospital. His condition was not immediately available. He is expected to face charges in the break-in as well.<\/p>\n

Police interviewed the man who shot Michelotti and released him, court records said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The next story comes from Charlotte, NC<\/a>;<\/p>\n

A man on the 1100 block of Jordans Pond Lane told police he was outside around 9 p.m. when Darlanski Sherrill walked up with a gun. <\/p>\n

He said Sherrill forced him into the houseand pistol-whipped him, but eventually he grabbed a gun and started shooting at Sherrill. <\/p>\n

Sherrill shot back as he ran out of the house and jumped into his car. <\/p>\n

Police said Don Antonio Morrison was driving the car.<\/p>\n

Officers spotted the car moving erratically a short time later on W.T. Harris Boulevard. <\/p>\n

They said Sherrill jumped out and later died at the hospital. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Port Neches Chief Paul Lemoine says, “The homeowner surprised a would-be burglar or thief on his property and he kinda chased him around a little bit and he had armed himself with a pistol and he shot in the general direction of the intruder and the intruder left the area and he chased him across Merriman running towards Miller.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
