The Obama campaign has their smoke generators switched on. Politico<\/a> reports that the Obama campaign thinks it’s a dirty trick by the McCain\/Palin campaign;<\/p>\n

News of Onyango’s legal status, which the AP confirmed through sources, including a federal law enforcement official, provided an unwelcome diversion for the Obama campaign during its final push toward Election Day and stoked suspicions among supporters of a political motive behind the timing of the leak.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe American people are pretty sensible,\u201d said Obama chief strategist David Axelrod, \u201cand I think they are pretty suspicious of things that are dumped in the marketplace 72 hours before a campaign, so I am not concerned about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Axelrod is the guy that influenced all of these astroturfers we’ve seen this year. If there was nothing to dump, it wouldn’t have been dumped. Is Axelrod hinting that no one noticed when Times Online released the story about his aunt living on the public dole? That they just hoped the whole thing would dissipate? Is Axelrod saying that the Associated Press, the organization which broke the illegal alien part of the story, is a McCain tool?\u00a0 That’s a friggin’ laugh.<\/p>\n

Now we discover that his aunt went to Obama’s swearing-in ceremony just less than four years ago about the same time she was ordered to be deported. And, what? She just didn’t mention it?<\/p>\n

Seems to me that a woman seeking refugee status would attempt to get her nephew the US Senator to pull a few strings for her…unless she did and he told her to stick it out until after presidential election to avoid the scandal.<\/p>\n

AP also makes the point that the Democrats are in damage control – so desparate are they that Obama is seeking the advice of Harry “The Original Unimproved Submarine Screendoor” Reid;<\/p>\n

So already he’s dodging questions. Maybe he’s hoping he can get some of the love like Clinton got for his scandal by dodging questions and appearing\u00a0 to be a victim of the VRWC. Thing is, Clinton was already elected and we couldn’t do much about him. Obama on the other hand….<\/p>\n
