Of course, Don Shipley was involved in both investigations;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We told principal Reginald Hinson someone sent us information about him being a Navy SEAL and we wanted to see if we could ask him about it.<\/p>\n<p>He said OK.<\/p>\n<p>Then we asked if he was a Navy SEAL.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cYes, I spent many years in the Navy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then closed his office door so we could not continue our conversation.<\/p>\n<p>Even though he first told us he was a Navy SEAL, after we told him we were investigating imposters, his story changed.<\/p>\n<p>Hinson pointed to our camera and said, \u201cI can\u2019t talk to you if you have that on and I would appreciate you not putting that on TV, because I can\u2019t talk about what I did in the Navy other than what my job was in the Navy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hinson won\u2019t confirm he was a Navy SEAL, but a huge poster with a Navy SEAL creed is plastered on his office wall.<\/p>\n<p>WREG also found where he posted online he was a SEAL when he was looking for a job.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>When WREG approached [Thomas Bolling] to tell him we\u2019re investigating imposters, he also waved off our camera.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cStephanie, I can not confirm nor deny that. Off camera, if you don\u2019t mind. Give me a second and I\u2019ll talk to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shipley and his Extreme SEAL group had requests to check out Thomas Bolling\u2019s SEAL credentials, too.<\/p>\n<p>Bolling told WREG, \u201cI\u2019ve got a lot of people trying to discredit me and trying to discredit my company. If you Google my name, you\u2019ll find all kinds of things, but these people are playing childish games and I don\u2019t have time for it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yep, the first place they both went was the secret squirrel defense, and then it became everyone else&#8217;s fault for exposing them. It&#8217;s like they have a script to follow.
