DoD is buying \u201cgreen fuels\u201d.\u00a0 We all knew that.\u00a0 Hell, it\u2019s one of this administration\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0 obsessions<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 apparent means of political payback<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 wealth redistribution mechanisms<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 truly stupid ideas<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 pet projects.<\/p>\n But this time, what DoD’s done IMO really takes the cake.\u00a0 Let me assure you – you don\u2019t want to know what DoD has been paying for \u201cgreen\u201d jet fuel.<\/p>\n You probably need to know.\u00a0 But you don’t want to know.<\/p>\n The article documenting just how badly Uncle Sam is taking it in the . . . ear regarding some of this type of \u201cgreen fuel\u201d can be found here<\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s so damn bad I\u2019m intentionally omitting some of the details in this article.<\/p>\n If you really<\/i> want to get p!ssed, follow the link and read it.\u00a0 If you have even two or more working brain cells and pay taxes I\u2019m pretty sure you will be seriously angry after reading it.<\/p>\n And yeah \u2013 one of the guys heavily invested in the firm getting top dollar is a big donor to the current Administration’s political party.<\/p>\n Given what else is going on with the DoD budget these days, this is particularly galling to me.\u00a0 But maybe that’s just me.<\/p>\n Sheesh.\u00a0 GMAFB.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n (Edited to add:\u00a0 hat tip to the Drudge Report<\/a><\/em> for the link.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
