Five <strong>militants<\/strong> were killed in fighting with the Israelis in another outlying part of the city, Palestinians said.<\/p>\n<p>In southern Gaza, an <span id=\"lw_1182957981_9\" style=\"background: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed\">Islamic Jihad<\/span> <strong>militant<\/strong> was killed in a clash with troops in the town of Khan Younis. Hospital officials said a total of 40 people were wounded by Israeli shells in Gaza City.<\/p>\n<p>Two more Palestinians died in other violence. In Khan Younis, a <span id=\"lw_1182957981_10\" style=\"background: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed\">Hamas<\/span> <strong>militant <\/strong>was killed while mishandling explosives, and a senior Islamic Jihad member was killed in what Palestinians said was an airstrike. <span id=\"lw_1182957981_11\" style=\"background: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; cursor: hand; border-bottom: #0066cc 1px dashed\">Israel<\/span>, which usually acknowledges airstrikes, denied involvement.<\/p>\n<p>Another Palestinian <strong>militant<\/strong> died from wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike on Sunday, medical officials said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So doesn&#8217;t anyone at AP have a Thesaurus?\u00c2\u00a05 uses of the same word in 4 paragraphs and seven sentences.<\/p>\n<p>Oh and the story was misleading &#8211; the Israelis didn&#8217;t kill Palestinians &#8211; they killed those rabid dogs that\u00c2\u00a0travel in that pack\u00c2\u00a0called &#8220;Hamas&#8217;.
