Dan sends us our first feel good story this morning from Houston<\/a> where two folks thought they needed a mother’s purse more than they needed to live a good life;<\/p>\n

\u201cThis lady opens her car door, grabs the woman\u2019s purse and they reverse. While they\u2019re trying to reverse, the lady is holding on to her purse still, chasing them all the way to the middle.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when a perfect stranger intervened. He happened to be in his car in the parking lot when it happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that good Samaritan came out, drew his weapon and scared them. And that\u2019s when he pulled them out of the car.\u201d<\/p>\n

Someone snapped a picture of the man holding the two suspects at bay. A few minutes later, police arrived and took the male and female suspects into custody.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From Chief Tango we get another story from Detroit<\/a> where the criminals haven’t learned yet that Detroiters are fed up;<\/p>\n

Officer Nicole Kirkwood said a 24-year-old man climbed into the bedroom window of a home in the 12200 block of Heyden shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. A 50-year-old woman, believed to be the lone occupant of the home, fired one shot, hitting the suspected intruder in the arm, Kirkwood said.<\/p>\n

The man fled but was arrested shortly after by responding police. He was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in temporary serious condition.<\/p>\n

Officers also arrested a girl, 16 or 17 years old, who was waiting in the car outside of the location, Kirkwood said. It is unclear if she was the getaway driver.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They’re also fed up in Tuscaloosa<\/a>;<\/p>\n

Sgt. Dale Phillips, the unit’s commander, said the investigators found a 24-year-old man seriously injured by a gunshot wound to his stomach at a residence in the 2200 block of 48th Street East. The man was rushed to the emergency room at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, and the homicide unit stayed behind to question the 36-year-old man who shot him.<\/p>\n

Phillips said the shooter told investigators that the younger man had forced his way into the residence and shooting him was an act of self-defense. Phillips said at this time, that narrative appears to be true and the 36-year-old man was not charged for the shooting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
