MCPO Ret. In TN sends us his work on Louie Malone McGowin who was arrested for scamming a 71-year-old woman in Ocala, Florida<\/a>. This is a wierd story, because I don’t know what this woman was thinking when she started dating a guy she met at a veterans’ homeless shelter.<\/p>\n

The woman told detectives McGowin said he was a Navy Seal and was close friends with a Florida Department of Law Enforcement agent. He told her he was supposed to be hired at an auto repair shop but did not get the job because her son had talked with the manager. She said McGowin said her son had cost him a $60,000 a year job so she needed to give him that money and, if she didn’t, she would be arrested by his friend with the FDLE, reports note.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, needless to say, he wasn’t a SEAL;<\/p>\n
