{"id":44585,"date":"2014-04-23T11:13:20","date_gmt":"2014-04-23T15:13:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=44585"},"modified":"2014-04-23T11:13:20","modified_gmt":"2014-04-23T15:13:20","slug":"concerned-veterans-for-america-poll-and-livestream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=44585","title":{"rendered":"Concerned Veterans For America; poll and livestream"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/concernedveteransforamerica.org\/2014\/04\/18\/tarrance-group-key-findings-from-survey-for-concerned-veterans-for-america\/\">Concerned Veterans For America<\/a> commissioned a poll a few weeks ago in regards to how veterans view the current government I don&#8217;t think the results will surprise any of the regular readers here;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>    Sixty-eight percent of veterans believe the country is off on the wrong track (vs. 21% say right direction), and by a margin of more than two to one, veterans disapprove of the way President Obama is handling his job (66% disapprove  vs. 29% approve).<\/p>\n<p>    Veterans also hold negative views toward President Obama\u2019s healthcare law.  Over six in 10 (63%) of veterans disapprove of Obamacare (vs. 28% approve), and nearly half (46%) believe Obamacare will be worse than VA healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>    All surveyed\u2014veterans and members of the military\u2014 believe the top issues facing Congress are dysfunction in Washington (23%), followed by government spending and debt (19%) and economy\/jobs (17%). <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m only surprised that the numbers were so low. They must have called the VoteVets and IAVA membership lists by mistake.
