I just watched an Obama advisor Brad Woodhouse on Fox News twist Obama’s tax policy as well as misuse the language to twist our whole monetary system into an unrecognizable ball of rhetric.<\/p>\n
Woodhouse said that John McCain wants to transfer “all of the wealth in this country” to the rich when he\u00a0 described the McCain tax policy. That implies that “all of the wealth on this country” belongs to the government. He repeated the same line that I heard earlier in the week that Obama’s tax cut to the low-wage earners is really a transfer of income tax revenues from higher-earners to lower earners and tell everyone that it’s from the Social Secuirty (payroll taxes).<\/p>\n
I once read a poll several years ago in which 30% of the respondents thought that all money belonged to the government. Obama and his advisors are playing to that misperception. It reinforces my perception that only the ignorant and uneducated will vote for Obama.<\/p>\n
This exchanges I’ve written about here this week demonstrate a weakness in the Obama talking points. Their “95% of Americans” line had gone unchallenged until this week. When they’re finally forced to explain what they mean, Americans are able to see what a thin veneer is their deceit.<\/p>\n
