Dan Noyes, our buddy at KGO-TV<\/a> in San Francisco sends us a link to his latest report about Chuck Lyman a 53-year-old in the area who spread his lies to scam some well-meaning citizens to invest in a business to provide the government with shipping containers to help bring the troops home. Listening to his victims, he covered all of the services. He claimed to be a SEAL, Special Forces, Army Corps of Engineers, Coast Guard to ensnare investors.<\/p>\n

Lyman was able to draw them in, because of his tall tales of military service.<\/p>\n

Alden Feldon told Noyes, “He said he had worked in the service and that he was currently employed in the Coast Guard.”<\/p>\n

Darlene Stone added, “When I first met him, he brought up Navy SEALs and Special Forces.”<\/p>\n

Susan Ferrell said, “I thought it was the Army Corps of Engineers, and he was like an ex-Navy SEAL.”<\/p>\n

Lyman’s records that Noyes obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show all of that is not true. He spent six years with the Army National Guard Reserves as a mechanic — “no active duty”. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, well, they’re all criminals. Like I’ve said, their stolen valor is just a symptom of their sociopath behavior. There’s always something else.<\/p>\n
