{"id":40429,"date":"2014-03-18T06:00:09","date_gmt":"2014-03-18T10:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=40429"},"modified":"2014-03-17T19:40:03","modified_gmt":"2014-03-17T23:40:03","slug":"corpsman-avoids-duties-with-a-grenade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=40429","title":{"rendered":"Corpsman avoids duties with a grenade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Someone dropped off this link on our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stripes.com\/news\/us\/corpsman-set-off-grenade-to-avoid-duties-navy-says-1.273035\">Facebook page<\/a> about Petty Officer 1st Class Omar Pescador-Montanez, a Navy Corpsman assigned to SEAL Team 10 who really didn&#8217;t want to treat an couple of Afghans;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> One of the men waiting worked for U.S. forces at the compound in southeastern Afghanistan. He escorted the other man &#8212; thought to be an Afghan soldier &#8212; complaining of leg pain.<\/p>\n<p>In actions at the heart of a criminal case against him, Pescador-Montanez suddenly ran into the room and told the men to take cover; he thought someone had thrown something into the building.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing happened. All three ran outside and didn&#8217;t see anything. Then Pescador-Montanez ran back into the building.
