<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nAbout two years ago, we helped to bust this clown, Jason Truitt<\/a>. who claimed to be an OEF veteran SEAL and claimed to have been captured by the Taliban twice, but managed to escape. Of course, it was all false, but he parlayed that story into a free hunting trip and a free Weatherby rifle by preying on good folks who truly wanted to help veterans come home. <\/p>\n Well, I’m mentioning it today because Mary finally got his records from the National Personnel Records Center;<\/p>\n Yeah, he had seven months in the Navy, and 4 months at sea. Almost like multiple tours in Afghanistan, huh? There were two more blog posts about him, one when the Cortez Journal pulled their articl<\/a>e, and another when a local TV station interviewed Truitt<\/a>.<\/p>\n His excuse for the fakery was that he had bumped his noggin when he was in the Navy and that made him lie about his service. Of course, he had a pretty lengthy criminal record, so he had experience as a prisoner, but not of the Taliban – the California Corrections System.
