Good Friday morning; Our stories come from Chief Tango this Valentine’s Day. The first is from Gary, indiana<\/a> where some foolish children thought they could rob folks at senior citizens’ social club;<\/p>\n

E.C. Robinson, 65, a Gary resident, was shot but managed to defend himself and others with his own gun.<\/p>\n

“He shot him twice, that is when E.C. started shooting back,” said one witness.<\/p>\n

The suspect hid in the bathroom after he was shot until police came and took him into custody.<\/p>\n

Sturgis said he hopes the shooting will send a message to the younger people who want to cause trouble from Chicago.<\/p>\n

“We’re in Indiana, they [are] from Illinois, they don’t know people got permits to carry guns, so bang bang, that is what happened,” Sturgis said. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The next story comes from Texas<\/a> where a store saw folks trying to break into his store while it was closed;<\/p>\n

A manager in the store went outside and confronted the suspects, shooting one of them. The other suspect, a 16-year-old, took off running along nearby Greens Bayou, constables said.<\/p>\n

One officer caught up to the male and fired a shot, but he was not struck. The suspect was then taken into custody.<\/p>\n

The injured suspect was sent to the hospital in stable condition.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
