Well, it\u2019s been over a month since the \u00a0\u00a0Plainly Pathetic and Absurd Collection of Asininity<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\u00a0 – commonly known as \u201cObamaCare\u201d \u2013 individual mandate has been in effect.\u00a0 And as predicted, the previously FUBAR situation is getting . . . no better.<\/p>\n

Remember all those thousands of applications with issues that we heard about a month or two ago, that were going to HHS to be fixed later?\u00a0 Well, add to those 22,000 where people have appealed, claiming HHS erred.\u00a0 HHS can\u2019t figure out what to do with them<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I wonder how the folks who thought they\u2019d signed up for health insurance \u2013 but really didn\u2019t because of an admin or site error \u2013 feel about ObamaCare now?\u00a0 Or who\u2019s going to pay for their healthcare if they end up needing care before things get sorted out?<\/p>\n

It also seems like that may be only the tip of the iceberg regarding issues with the HHS ObamaCare web site\/system.\u00a0 Turns out a firm from Belarus appears to have helped with the website.\u00a0 That firm has ties to the Belarus government.\u00a0 There\u2019s apparently some thought that the site may contain malware<\/a> that could put applicants\u2019 personal information at risk.<\/p>\n

Of course, the current Administration is still engaging in \u00a0\u00a0 more misleading propaganda<\/del> \u00a0 \u201cturd polishing<\/a>\u201d<\/del>\u00a0 \u00a0 damage control<\/del>\u00a0\u00a0 blatant “spin” regarding this \u201cwonderful new healthcare law\u201d.\u00a0 Now, they’re reportedly ghost-writing Twitter comments<\/a> for NFL players who want to praise the fiasco.<\/p>\n

And remember how the CBO originally said that ObamaCare wouldn\u2019t have a major effect on working hours?\u00a0 Well, now they\u2019re kinda reversing themselves.\u00a0 In 2011, CBO estimated that ObamaCare would cost the equivalent of 800,000 full time jobs in terms of lost work hours by 2019.\u00a0 CBO now says that ObamaCare will eliminate the equivalent of 2.3 million full time jobs<\/a> in terms of lost work hours \u2013 or nearly 3x as many as previously estimated.<\/p>\n

Looks like maybe the CBO is finally getting tired of polishing.\u00a0 (smile)<\/p>\n

Sheesh.\u00a0 We need to repeal this abomination posthaste, and replace it with something that actually has a prayer of working.\u00a0 Hell – this time, maybe we\u2019ll even get a chance to read any proposed new law<\/em> before Congress votes.\u00a0 You know, so that we can \u201csee what\u2019s in it\u201d.<\/p>\n
