The legacy governor, Andrew Cuomo, whose father destroyed a thriving economy in the state a few decades ago, told conservatives that they’re not welcomed in the state these days, according to the Washington Times<\/a>. Apparently, according to the far-left governor, only RINOs need to stay;<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s more about extreme Republicans versus moderate Republicans,\u201d he said in a radio interview Friday, National Review Online reported. \u201cYou\u2019re seeing that play out in New York. \u2026 The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act \u2014 it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that\u2019s who they are and they\u2019re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that\u2019s not who New Yorkers are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they\u2019re moderate Republicans like in the Senate right now, who control the Senate \u2014 moderate Republicans have a place in their state,\u201d he continued.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, that’s why I left 15 years ago when Little Chucky Schumer beat Al D’Amato and there was talk that Hillary Clinton would run. I didn’t want to live among the morons who would elect her. Cuomo is mad because of the backlash from his dead-of-the-night passage of the SAFE Act from the western counties, but he should learn to lie in the bed he made. Of course, New Yorkers will reelect him, that’s why I don’t entertain any thoughts of moving back there. <\/p>\n
