Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories for today, the first is from Louisiana<\/a> where a 63-year-old woman faced a 16-year-old with a shotgun;<\/p>\n

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday night at a home in the 3000 block of Morningside Dr. Police say a 16-year-old male, who’s name has not been released, reportedly tried to enter the house armed with a long-barrel shotgun. He demanded money from the homeowner, a 63-year-old woman.<\/p>\n

Police say at some point during the ordeal, the homeowner was able to gain access to a handgun she kept secured inside the safe. That’s when she fired several shots at the suspect hitting him in the upper body.<\/p>\n

The teen ran from the scene but collapsed in front of a home about 6 houses down the street.<\/p>\n

The suspect was taken to University Health Shreveport, where he died shortly after 10 p.m. Police say no charges have been filed against the woman.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
