He claims that he was wounded while serving as a door gunner on a Blackhawk (which wasn&#8217;t in service until the following decade) out of Saigon in May 1975 and that he saved a lot of lives that day by taking a bullet for the troops.<\/p>\n<p>Well, he was in the Navy that day, but, apparently not near Saigon, according to his records which have mysteriously appeared despite the double-top-secret classification;<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?attachment_id=39085\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-39085\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Ricky-Neal-McQuitty-239x300.jpg\" alt=\"Ricky Neal McQuitty\" width=\"239\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-39085\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Ricky-Neal-McQuitty-239x300.jpg 239w, https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Ricky-Neal-McQuitty-266x333.jpg 266w, https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Ricky-Neal-McQuitty.jpg 446w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never heard of a Navy Constructionman Apprentice, Utilitiesman Striker working as a door gunner, either. No Vietnam Service awards, no Purple Heart, nothing but a 21-month stint in the Navy. And it looks like they parted on less than friendly terms.
