Today is the anniversary of the Sandy Hook shootings.\u00a0 We\u2019ll doubtless hear great hue and cry from our liberal \u201cbrethren\u201d about that, and about how “evil guns” killed innocents.<\/p>\n
Yeah, they\u2019re lying – and they know it.\u00a0 But that won’t stop many clueless schmucks from lapping it up.\u00a0 And the media will be there to broadcast the false outrage and tears.<\/p>\n
They\u2019re using innocents murdered by a lunatic as political props. I wish I could say that shocks me. But coming from the \u201cProgressive\u201d side, it doesn\u2019t.\u00a0 They do crap like that all the time.<\/p>\n
The hypocrisy, though, disgusts me. Because if anyone besides the shooter, Adam Lanza, is to blame for Sandy Hook \u2013 it\u2019s our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren”.<\/p>\n
In the 1950s and 1960s, our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren” began advocating for the rights of mental health patients.\u00a0 \u201cInstitutions are horrible, and unnecessary!\u201d they said.\u00a0 \u201cWe can treat them at home, or in the community!\u201d they said.\u00a0 \u201cPutting someone in an institution is a violation of their rights, and should be only done as a last resort – after they’ve proved they’re violent!\u201d they said.<\/p>\n
And they convinced various state legislatures to change laws and do exactly that.<\/p>\n
Connecticut was one of those states.\u00a0 Indeed, in Connecticut today it\u2019s virtually impossible to get someone involuntarily committed \u2013 no matter how crazy they are \u2013 before<\/span> they\u2019ve committed an act of violence.\u00a0 The law doesn\u2019t support it, and judges almost universally won\u2019t order it.<\/p>\n So, what does this have to do with Sandy Hook?\u00a0 Plenty. Let\u2019s recap what happened leading up to that incident.<\/p>\n So here\u2019s the deal:\u00a0 what Adam Lanza did was unlawful \u2013 multiple times over.\u00a0 He tried to buy a weapon legally, and was refused.\u00a0 So he murdered his own mother<\/em><\/span>, stole her weapons, took those stolen weapons to a \u201cgun free zone\u201d, and then committed 24 more<\/span><\/em> murders.\u00a0 Each of those acts is a heinous crime.\u00a0 The minute he was confronted by armed opposition \u2013 he killed himself.<\/p>\n Our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren” deinstitutionalized the mentally ill in the 1960s, and made it virtually impossible in Connecticut for anyone to be involuntarily committed before they committed a violent act.\u00a0 Without that, ALL of the innocents killed at Sandy Hook would be alive today.\u00a0 So probably would Adam Lanza.<\/p>\n Our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren” forced schools to be declared legal \u201cgun free zones\u201d, AKA undefended soft targets.\u00a0 Without that, Adam Lanza might have encountered armed opposition early in his lunatic spree.\u00a0 (We’re talking Connecticut, though, so perhaps not.)\u00a0 It wouldn\u2019t have saved his mother, and probably wouldn\u2019t have saved his next victim.\u00a0 But those two might well have been the only lives lost.<\/em>\u00a0 In any case, I\u2019m guessing we\u2019d be talking far fewer than 25 innocent lives lost.<\/p>\n One well-placed shot<\/span> from an armed defender was all that was needed to save lives.\u00a0 But no armed defenders were there – because laws passed at the urging of our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren” forbade it.<\/p>\n Our Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren” say that to prevent this from happening again, we need more laws.\u00a0 They say that guns are to blame, not the lunatic who murdered his own mother and then killed over 20 others using stolen weapons.<\/p>\n Yeah, right.\u00a0 Adam Lanza was batsh!t-crazy insane.\u00a0 He was willing to commit multiple felonies \u2013\u00a0including murdering his own mother<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 Do you really<\/span> think another law would have made one damn bit of difference to him?\u00a0 If so, let\u2019s talk business.\u00a0 I can make you a helluva deal on a bridge.<\/p>\n If you want to see who\u2019s responsible for Sandy Hook, my Bleeding-Heart Liberal \u201cBrethren\u201c, look at a picture of Adam Lanza.\u00a0 Then go look in the freaking mirror.<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 Because other than Adam Lanza, you<\/span><\/em> are the ones responsible for Sandy Hook.\u00a0 The blood of the innocents killed at Sandy Hook is on your<\/span><\/em> hands.<\/p>\n You<\/span><\/em> valued the rights of madmen more than society – and thus made it impossible to take a madman off the street before he killed.\u00a0 And you<\/span> <\/em>were scared out of your wits by the very thought of violence – and demanded the laws that made it impossible for the adults at Sandy Hook that day to defend either themselves or the innocent children in their care.<\/p>\n Their blood.\u00a0 I<\/em>t’s on your hands<\/em><\/span>, my Bleeding-Heart Liberal “Brethren”.<\/p>\n I hope each of you remembers that every time you look in the mirror.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
