He’s claiming that he has three combat jumps into Desert Storm, but according to the 2-1 he supplied, although he was indeed in 2\/325th, he didn’t arrive at the unit from Jump School until the month after combat in Desert Storm ended;<\/p>\n

He has his 2-1, but when someone asks him for the rest of his records, they were destroyed. And, oh, yeah, the Army lost track of him and he’s been on leave since 1999. That’s totally plausible. That gibberish in the title is how he gives us the “keys” to his service;<\/p>\n

I noticed in his 2-1 that the Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP) is crossed out, so I’m guessing he enlisted for a Ranger Battalion and then chickened out when he graduated from jump school. And, looking at the 2-1, he probably didn’t last too long after arrived at Fort Bragg – he certainly didn’t last long enough to learn that the jump wings don’t go over the CIB or that you don’t wear two Expert Weapons badges.
