Yeah, I know we already had two today, but this one is worth a glance, too. It’s from Alabama<\/a>, where Adric White, 18 hadn’t quite turned his life around from an armed robbery at The Original Oyster House a month ago, an escapade from which he was out on bail, young Adric decided he needed some of that big money from Family Dollar, but there popped up a hitch – a good guy with a gun;<\/p>\n

The Good Samaritan, who we are not identifying, told FOX10 News he was shopping at the Family Dollar on Stanton road when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees,\u201d said the man. \u201cI drew my gun on him and I said ‘Hey don’t move.’ At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me I fired. I didn\u2019t want to shoot him.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The family of young Adric doesn’t think much of the good guy’s intervention;<\/p>\n

\u201cIf his (the customer) life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him – what gives him the right to think that it’s okay to just shoot someone?\u201d said the relative. \u201cYou should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Um, that’s the definition of a Good Samaritan, isn’t it? Doing things for other people even though it might be hazardous to your own well-being.<\/p>\n
