Meet Sergeant major Raymond S. Nash, another steely-eyed killer from the Vietnam War. He says he was Force Recon there and used to rescue POWs. Didn’t everyone? Well, he was in the Marines during Vietnam;<\/p>\n

\"Raymond<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n

He started out as an infantryman, well until they deployed Marines to Vietnam in 1965; <\/p>\n

\"Raymond<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n

In 1965, he transferred to another specialty and became an “Admin Man”, it looks like he never left Camp Lejeune and unless Division Band is a code word for Force Recon, I don’t think so;<\/p>\n

\"Raymond<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n

No service medals in his records for actually being in Vietnam, but that doesn’t stop him from claiming Vietnam Service;<\/p>\n

And then he went in the Guard and got activated for the Gulf War on June 30, 1991 – three months after the war ended- for four months;<\/p>\n

His awards on the FOIA say he has the Southwest Asia Service Medal, but it was awarded until 1995 for service in that theater. he also has the Kuwait Liberation Medal and that was awarded for everyone who served there until 1994. The fact that he doesn’t have the Saudi award for the Kuwait Liberation proves that he wasn’t there during the war – since it was only awarded for service from January 16th – February 28th 1991. But somehow he got a Bronze Star Medal;<\/p>\n

I guess being a clerk has it’s advantages, huh? Notice the dates on the Bronze Star citation don’t match the dates in his records – not even closely. Oh, yeah, all of those years in the service, including his active time in the Marines and he didn’t even get close to Sergeant Major, but that’s what’s on the business card I have.<\/p>\n
