{"id":38138,"date":"2013-10-25T12:54:29","date_gmt":"2013-10-25T16:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=38138"},"modified":"2013-10-25T16:00:57","modified_gmt":"2013-10-25T20:00:57","slug":"a-quick-reminder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=38138","title":{"rendered":"A Quick Reminder . . ."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 25 October 1983, beginning at 0500<\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/9\/94\/Op_Urgent_Fury_Invasion_Map.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"330\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Combat had effectively ended by 27 October 1983; the end of the combat phase was declared on 2 November 1983.\u00a0 The operation&#8217;s formal end was 15 December 1983.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Operation Urgent Fury was successful.\u00a0 However, many substantial problems with communications and interservice coordination were discovered during the operation.\u00a0 Thankfully we discovered these issues in Grenada vice against more serious opposition.<\/p>\n<p>The operation was not zero cost.\u00a0 US fatalities, Operation Urgent Fury, were as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><!--more-->Marlin R.
