{"id":37992,"date":"2013-10-15T15:00:48","date_gmt":"2013-10-15T19:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=37992"},"modified":"2013-10-15T14:37:55","modified_gmt":"2013-10-15T18:37:55","slug":"im-predicting-a-short-career","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=37992","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m Guessing a Short Career"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not trying to pick on the Navy, but &#8211; damn.\u00a0 Just . . . damn.<\/p>\n<p>Headline gives the short version:<\/p>\n<p id=\"article-title\" itemprop=\"name\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/news\/local\/breakingnews\/os-disney-arrest-drunk-naval-academy-20131014,0,4711443.story\"><strong><em>Naval Naval Academy grad charged with injuring 3 Disney cast members <\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p itemprop=\"name\">If you&#8217;re wondering if alcohol was involved &#8211; yeah, the guy was reportedly pretty well trashed at the time of the incident.\u00a0 Sheesh.<\/p>\n<p itemprop=\"name\">Unfortunately, it gets even &#8220;better&#8221; when you read the article.\u00a0 The guy was apparently<em> Dean&#8217;s List<\/em> at the Naval Academy, long-snapped for the football team, and was attending flight school.\u00a0 Obviously he wasn&#8217;t a complete idiot.\u00a0 But he <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">still<\/span> got trashed and pulled this dumbass stunt.\u00a0 All I can do is shake my head and mutter a famous 3-letter acronym beginning with &#8220;W&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p itemprop=\"name\">Maybe he&#8217;s salvageable.\u00a0 But given today&#8217;s military climate, Ensign &#8211; I&#8217;m guessing it just might be a good idea to start working on a resume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not trying to pick on the Navy, but &#8211; damn.\u00a0 Just . . . damn.
